THE Crème Brûlée Recipe That Will Make You Melt!

Enjoy the goodness of Vanilla Crème Brûlée – a classic French dessert that's easy to whip up at home. Creamy, vanilla-infused, with a sweet, crunchy caramel top. Simple, nostalgic, and utterly delicious!

Ingredients (for 8 people):

  • 500 ml heavy cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar or cane sugar
  • 1 vanilla bean
  • Ramekins and kitchen torch

Recipe Steps:

  1. Cut the vanilla bean in half to extract the seeds.
  2. Heat the cream gently with the vanilla bean, allowing it to infuse (at least 30mn).
  3. Vigorously beat the egg yolks and sugar, adding the vanilla seeds to obtain a foamy mixture.
  4. Gradually pour the warmed and filtered cream onto the egg/sugar mixture, stirring continuously.
  5. Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  6. Place the cream in the ramekins and bake in a water bath for 30 to 35 minutes; the cream should jiggle like a custard.
  7. Remove from the oven, place the creams in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  8. Sprinkle a layer of sugar on top and caramelize it with your kitchen torch.
