These French madeleines are the ideal snack for children after school and for anyone who enjoys having friends over for a cup of tea.
The Ingredients :
- 166g Sugar
- 254g Flour
- 14g Baking Powder
- 5g Orange Zest
- 184.6g Whole Eggs (4 eggs)
- 40g Honey
- 76g Milk
- 254g Butter
Melt the butter in a saucepan, stirring continuously, until it turns hazelnut brown.
Sift the flour with the baking powder.
Mix the eggs with the sugar, add the flour and baking powder. Scrape the vanilla bean and add the seeds, orange zest, milk, and honey.
Butter the madeleine molds with softened butter. Pipe a small amount of madeleine batter into each mold.
Preheat the oven to 210°C (th.7) and bake for 5 minutes at 200°C (th.6-7).
